November 2014

How is it December now?! November seemed to fly past.

We've had quite an exciting and also sad-ish month. This is the first time we've had to experience packing a yacht up at the end of sailing season. It was really sad seeing her without her sails on and then eventually seeing her in the shed where she will sit and rest until April next year.
Sunday's are now so odd as we don't have sailing as an option. It's hard to remember what we did before we had her to keep us busy.
So that was the sad part. The happy part is also boat related in that we now own a 1947 wooden dingy. Our sailing friends, who are moving to Malta next year, sold her to us and we feel really honoured to be her new owners. She is so beautiful and it's wonderful to own local history really.

November has also been the month of poorliness. I was poorly for over a week, as was Charles.

On the last day of November our Christmas Tree was purchased and put up, along with other decorations. It was a lovely way to spend the last day of the month!

It seems crazy that we only have 5 more weeks of Living Arrows. I've really enjoyed this project and can't wait to continue with it next year too.

How was your November?
